In accordance to a recent forum of mine (which I'm not giving the link ), I'm writing some base tutorials about the do's and don'ts on forum creation and management...

Basically, to get to the point:
Your experience interests me, therefore I'd like to know what type (see types below) of forum you own andif you'd accept haveing a sort of interview...
This could lead to quotes in the tutorail as well as an appreciation

The different types of forum are:

I own a forum called The Phyrewayve Cafe which is a general chat forum about basically everything on the planet.

Yes

How long has it been up?
Since December 20, 2006

On a scale of 1 to 10, how active would you say it is?
About 2. Its growing daily, though.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how good an admin do you think you are/were (administrating and technic)?
I think im about 8

On a scale of 1 to 10, how important do you think publicity is?
9, its very important to make your forum public and known.

How many hours did you spend, roughly, on it during it's creation?
About 4 hours

What do you think are your forum's best features? Why?
The design, the different sections, including the Miscellaneous section.

What do you think makes a good forum of your forum type? Why?
Displaying a transport type picture in the nav bar.

How is your forum different from others of it's type?
Let me see. I am competing with 2 other forums. One of them has 1700 members, but has the most dullest design. I think we are different from them in that we focus worldwide, they focus Australia only.
The other is one made by a person I know well. We are not rivals to each other, but we do have things in common.

What advice would you give to someone wishing to start a forum of the same type as yours?
Firstly, there aren't many forums about transport that I know of, and you need to have a very good knowledge about the topic.

What advice would you give on a general level?
Have a nice design and post regularly!
